Sports Conditioning

Athletes today understand that they need to supplement their sports skills with work in the weight room.  We have gone one step further by understanding that the weight room alone is not enough and time must be spent on running and jumping.  The next step now is making sure that everything done in the weight room, on the track, on and over boxes, and through agility cones is done with the end result in mind - speed, power, strength, stability, and injury prevention.

Too many athletes are working too hard at making themselves slower, weaker, and more susceptible to injury through the type of training that they are doing.

At PIT, we make it our goal to have all athletes understand why they are doing what they are doing and not waste any of their valuable energy doing things that won't make them better in their sport.
